I’ve spent the last few months working really hard on making sure Cefn Tilla Court is absolutely perfect for you all to enjoy, so I thought it’s about time I told you more about what I’ve been up to.

I first set eyes on this beautiful country home in 2015 and absolutely fell in love with it and what it could be. I’m lucky enough to have owned and managed Cefn Tilla ever since and I’ve been working relentlessly to turn it into one of South Wales’ best all round venues.

I’ve completely renovated our outbuildings to create some stunning holiday cottages, and they’ve even been recognised by Visit Wales this year when they awarded us 4 stars. Our five cottages sleep between two and six people (or book the lot for 17 people) and are perfect for a romantic getaway, a family reunion or just a little weekend break.

I strive to keep our guests entertained whilst they’re here by offering a whole host of entertainment and activities – our most popular being clay pigeon shooting. Rob has been running clay shooting days for visitors since day one, and even coaches the visitors too. You can be sure you are in the very best hands with Rob, as he has represented Wales at the sport for many years. In fact, he was part of the Team GB clay shooting team that won Bronze in the European Championships in Italy, so you’re definitely in the best hands!

Of course, everybody is welcome but I find a lot of our visitors are here are on team building events, or stag & hen parties. It’s great alternative way get a group together for a day at the house starting with a fresh cup of coffee in front of the 17th century roaring fire before heading out for a shoot and finishing with a glass of Champagne or Sloe Gin.

But why not make a weekend out of it? I’ve  been working amazingly hard and have achieved a 5 star rating for Health and Hygiene in Cefn Tilla’s kitchen. I can prepare breakfast for up to 30 guest before you head out into the cold for your shoot!
