Find out more about what there is to do at Cefn Tilla Court

Cefn Tilla Court is a Grade II listed, 19th Century country house situated in the picturesque village of Llandenny near Usk in Monmouthshire. Bursting with history, the estate is now owned by Rob Evans whose plans for the venue are multiple.

Cefn Tilla Court is a Unique Wedding Venue

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so it makes sense that you will want every detail to be perfect – exactly as you want it. At Cefn Tilla Court, you can have exactly that – every detail just as you want it. Cefn Tilla Court is unique in that we act as a blank canvas for your wedding day. This allows you the freedom to arrange the day from the catering and drinks to the decorations and entertainment. So if you don’t fancy the ‘soup, chicken, cheesecake’ menu that you’ve tried time and time again, Cefn Tilla Court allows outside caterers. This also means we can cater for weddings from different cultures, civil ceremonies, and themed weddings.

The ceremony takes place in The Great Hall where you can share the occasion with up to 90 of your closest family and friends. Then, it’s on to our luxury marquee where as many guests as you desire can join you to celebrate in to the night.

Cefn Tilla Court is quickly becoming one of the most sought after wedding venues in South Wales and is only available for a select number of weddings each season so be sure to book as early as possible.

Clay Pigeon Shooting at Cefn Tilla Court

Cefn Tilla Court estate is set within 128 acres of rustic woodland and rolling fields, making it the perfect setting to try out clay pigeon shooting. It’s something a little bit different, and can be enjoyed by everyone so if you fancy trying it as your stag or hen do, or even as a corporate team building event, you won’t be disappointed. You could even arrange for it to be an activity for your wedding guests!

On arrival, you will be greeted with breakfast and freshly brewed coffee before meeting your instructor for the day. After the safety brief is out of the way, it’s on to the shooting. You can choose from a selection of stands with varying difficulties and from 25 to 100 clays per person. Once all of the shots have been fired, you will return with your party to The Great Hall for debriefing and to present the Top Gun prize to the best shot of the day. You can also enjoy some champagne and sloe gin before venturing for lunch at the local restaurant.

If you enjoyed your day and want to further improve your shooting skills, we can even arrange coaching from members of the Welsh shooting team.
